Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Kye Clarke!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Clarke looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zion is looking to work some ground and pound but Clarke has wrist control.
Clarke seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kye Clarke hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

It looks like Clarke might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Clarke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kye Clarke wasn't active enough on the ground.
Zion's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clarke connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zion scrambles back to his feet.

Clarke moves into the clinch successfully.

Clarke has hold of one of Zion's legs. Zion is fighting the takedown attempt but Clarke gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Clarke turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Clarke manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clarke decides to stand back up. Clarke steps back and let's Zion get back to his feet.

Clarke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zion napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Clarke advances nicely into full mount.
Kye Clarke has got the better of the ground game so far.
Zion swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Clarke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zion is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Well Clarke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
