And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Crash Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Talley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nelson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Talley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nelson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nelson manages to end up in side control.

Talley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nelson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nelson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!



Talley shoots in and bounces Nelson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Talley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nelson, up you get!

Sloppy strikes from Talley. Those never looked like landing.
Nelson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Talley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Talley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nelson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Talley somewhat.

Talley closes the distance and pushes Nelson back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nelson has had enough of the clinch but Talley keeps him there for the moment.
Talley jumps guard but Nelson stands there with Talley around his waist. Talley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sandy Talley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nelson is pressed up against the cage. Talley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nelson down to the mat. Nelson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nelson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Nelson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Talley is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We've been informed that Nelson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Talley keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully.

Crash Nelson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Talley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Crash Nelson.
I think Talley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
