Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Mitrovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitrovic has chosen Stabwound as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bogdan Mitrovic!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William misses with a wild combination.
Mitrovic avoids a punch combination nicely.
William looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

William closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mitrovic's guard.
William wants to control from the top but Mitrovic keeps moving.
Mitrovic is pulling down on William's head. It's preventing any offense from William, at least for the moment.
Mitrovic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
William trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mitrovic pulls William in close to his closed guard and prevents William from doing any damage or advancing position.

William stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mitrovic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mitrovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with William. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mitrovic lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mitrovic throws a good cross that connects.
William shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mitrovic as he jumps to the side.
Mitrovic thuds his right hand into William's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
William takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
William shoots in for a takedown but Mitrovic shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
William looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mitrovic connects with a body shot that sends William's belly button to the back.
William throws a nice looking combination but Mitrovic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
William looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mitrovic is fending him off so far but William persists. Nope, Mitrovic circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas William. That's going to take a lot out of him.
William takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
William is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
William shoots in looking for a takedown. Mitrovic tries to sprawl out of it but William keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mitrovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
William takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
William takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

The fighters circle, before Mitrovic throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into William's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mitrovic lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
