The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieber throws an overhand right that lands on Dela Cruise's shoulder, as Dela Cruise tries to avoid the shot.
Dela Cruise throws a hook but Lieber blocks it.
Dela Cruise lands the left hand.
It looks like Max Lieber has been cut.
Dela Cruise tries to close the distance and clinch but Lieber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dela Cruise looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lieber with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dela Cruise to score with a decent uppercut.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lieber enables Dela Cruise to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lieber manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
