Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Fardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caa Chulainn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fardy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smack My Bitch Up. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josh Fardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caa Chulainn!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fardy misses with a head kick.
Fardy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.


It looks like Caa Chulainn has been cut.

Chulainn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chulainn lands a nice short elbow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fardy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fardy, right into the meat.
Chulainn fails with a takedown attempt.
Josh Fardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caa Chulainn.
Fardy's corner calls for a 1-2. Fardy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fardy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Chulainn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fardy counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fardy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chulainn takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Caa Chulainn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fardy misses with a wild body shot.
Fardy's corner calls for a 1-2. Fardy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Chulainn tries for a takedown but Fardy circles away easily
and Fardy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Fardy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Caa Chulainn's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fardy scores with a punch to the head.
Chulainn takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Chulainn shoots in for a takedown but Fardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fardy throws out a powerful jab.
Fardy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fardy cracks Chulainn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fardy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Chulainn to stand back up!


Chulainn is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chulainn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Fardy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chulainn is still on wobbly legs! Can Fardy finish him?
Chulainn tries for a takedown but Fardy circles away easily
and Fardy counters with a slapping leg kick.
Josh Fardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caa Chulainn.
Fardy drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Chulainn right on the button. Chulainn goes down! Fardy follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Fardy gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Fardy!
During a confident post fight interview, Josh Fardy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
