The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shmuel shoots in for a takedown but Thunderhowl shows good takedown defense.
Shmuel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thunderhowl's waist but Thunderhowl gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shmuel off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Thunderhowl closes the distance and clinches.
Thunderhowl prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rabbi Shmuel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shmuel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Thunderhowl is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Shmuel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Shmuel has Thunderhowl pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Thunderhowl manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Thunderhowl has Shmuel pressed against the cage. He pushes Shmuel back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Thunderhowl throws a beautiful elbow that sends Shmuel crashing to the floor! Thunderhowl piles on the pressure with more strikes! Shmuel is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
