Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeo Bekeroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries for a takedown but Bekeroon circles away easily
and Bekeroon counters with a nice uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from Bekeroon. No joy for Smith on that attempt.
Bekeroon stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bekeroon's half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bekeroon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Bekeroon's guard.
Smith wants to control from the top but Bekeroon keeps moving.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Bekeroon is keeping the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bekeroon leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smith tries for a takedown but Bekeroon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Bekeroon, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Bekeroon against the cage but Bekeroon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bekeroon leaves Smith with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Smith looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bekeroon as he avoids it easily.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Bekeroon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Romeo Bekeroon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bekeroon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bekeroon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bekeroon scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smith fails with the takedown.
Bekeroon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Smith tries for a takedown but Bekeroon circles away easily
and Bekeroon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Romeo Bekeroon dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bekeroon connects with a nice looking jab.
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Bekeroon tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bekeroon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bekeroon.

Smith is rocked!
Smith walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Smith limp body while Bekeroon jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
