The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruse shoots for a takedown but Barao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nice sprawl there from Kruse as Barao shoots in.

Kruse has control of Barao's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Barao regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kruse is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Barao rolls with it to try and escape but Kruse cranks on the arm and Barao is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
