Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Townsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Risley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Townsley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Risley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Risley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Townsley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Risley.
Risley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Townsley is looking to escape.
Townsley wants to sweep but Risley has passed to side control!
Risley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

A lull in the action here as Risley stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Risley decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Risley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Townsley was covering up waiting for the punch and Risley finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Townsley parries the strikes from Risley easily there. Risley is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Townsley to escape.

Risley cracks Townsley with a big right hand but Townsley just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hunter Risley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Risley tries to close the distance and clinch but Townsley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Risley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Townsley tries to avoid it but Risley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Townsley to the ground. Townsley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Risley or perhaps it was just good defense by Townsley which made him look bad.

Townsley shoots for a double leg takedown but Risley sprawls well. He's pushed Townsley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
