Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bertram Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mo mo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bertram Hurley's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mo misses with a body shot
and Hurley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hurley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
mo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
mo is trying to control the position but Hurley postures up.
Hurley tries to stand but mo is controlling from the bottom.
mo pulls Hurley in close to his closed guard and prevents Hurley from doing any damage or advancing position.
mo trying to keep a closed guard but Hurley is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mo mo.
mo misses with a double jab.
mo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hurley as he avoids it easily.

Mo mo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

mo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bertram Hurley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo mo.
mo tries to bum rush Hurley with a series of wild strikes but Hurley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

mo shoots in looking for a takedown but Hurley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing mo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hurley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

mo wants to clinch up but Hurley keeps it at a distance.

Hurley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hurley clinches up with mo and pushes him back against the cage.

Hurley jumps guard and drags mo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hurley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. mo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hurley cracks mo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hurley tries to close the distance and clinch up but mo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hurley throws a front kick aimed at mo's knee but mo avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bertram Hurley will probably get the nod.

Hurley wants to stand but mo is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hurley wants to stand and escape but instead mo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
mo prevents Hurley from getting back to his feet.
Hurley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but mo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hurley wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and mo manages to pass to side control.

mo moves into full mount! Hurley won't be happy about that!

Mo mo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hurley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hurley is looking for a sweep. mo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mo mo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Hurley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

mo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hurley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hurley wants to get back to his feet but mo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hurley wanted to stand there but mo had control of the position.

mo is wriggling around but Hurley manages to pass to half guard.

Mo mo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think mo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
