Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clarence Harryson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mama has chosen Cowboys From Hell as his entrance music. Masa Mama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harryson throws the left hand but Mama avoids the punch easily.
Harryson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Harryson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Harryson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mama counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Harryson gets control of Mama's arms and successfully pulls guard. Harryson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Mama wants to control from the top but Harryson keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harryson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Masa Mama hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Some wild striking there from Harryson.

Mama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harryson tries to avoid it but Mama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harryson to the ground. Harryson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Harryson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Harryson tries to clinch up but Mama circles away and keeps his distance.
Mama looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mama perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Mama has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Masa Mama decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
