Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by Got Money. Do has chosen The Godfather Theme Song as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 33 - 3, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Do!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do misses with the combination.
Coleman shoots and misses
and Do counters with a stiff right hand.
Coleman tries to clinch but Do moves away
enabling Do to counter with a crisp jab.
Coleman moves out of range as Do strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Do has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Coleman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Coleman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Do ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coleman moves away.

Do will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Coleman wants to clinch.
Do is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Coleman tries to close the distance and clinch but Do swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Do counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Do throws out a loose jab but Coleman uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Coleman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Do to score with a decent uppercut.
Mark Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Coleman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Do is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Coleman stalling away here and it's allowed Do to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Coleman is fighting to break Do's control of his arms but Do is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Do keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully.

Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Coleman throws an elbow that misses. Do uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman's guard. Nice move by Do!

Do is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Coleman controls Do momentarily but Do frees himself.
Mark Coleman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Coleman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Do is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Coleman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Coleman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Coleman has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mark Coleman wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Coleman has his takedown stuffed
and Do counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coleman thinking.

Coleman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Do sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Do takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses.
Coleman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Do defends well and Coleman ends up having to push Do into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Do wants the takedown. Coleman is fighting it off but Do persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Coleman's guard against the cage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Do accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Do is working Coleman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Coleman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Do chips away with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Coleman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Do looking to control but Coleman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Do scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Coleman tries to lock up and control but Do gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
A big strike lands for Do! That's really hurt Coleman and he's turned his back - Do keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Do jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Do!
After the fight, Michael Do was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
