The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAuley shoots in for a takedown but The Finish shows good takedown defense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McAuley tries to reverse the position but The Finish maintains control.

The Finish lands a big elbow.
McAuley is controlling an arm, preventing The Finish from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
McAuley manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McAuley is not content to let The Finish control the position.
McAuley is looking to control The Finish's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McAuley avoid being mounted?
The Finish seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The Finish is looking to advance position but McAuley won't allow it.

and The Finish counters with a nice double leg into side control. McAuley won't be happy with that.

The Finish tries for a kimura but McAuley is defending well.
McAuley sneaks back into half guard.
The Finish looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McAuley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The Finish is looking to take a break and control but McAuley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McAuley regains full guard. Nicely done.

McAuley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Finish doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Finish manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

McAuley wants to improve his position, back to half guard but The Finish has ideas of his own. He's got hold of McAuley's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! McAuley is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for The Finish!
