Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Haywud Djablomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scotty Barrett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barrett has chosen Les Paul and Mary Ford ~ I'm A Fool To Care as his entrance music. Scotty Barrett is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett misses with a jab, cross combination.
Djablomi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Barrett circles away.
Barrett tries a head kick but it misses.
Barrett shoots in looking for a takedown but Djablomi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barrett's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Djablomi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barrett pinned against the cage. Barrett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Djablomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Barrett tries to sprawl out of it but Djablomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barrett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Barrett holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Djablomi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Barrett is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Djablomi to the mat. Djablomi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Djablomi is looking to sweep but instead, Barrett has passed into half guard.
Djablomi tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Barrett seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Barrett scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Barrett is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Djablomi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scotty Barrett has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Barrett closes the distance and clinches up with Djablomi, looking for a takedown. Barrett pushes Djablomi against the cage but Djablomi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Barrett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Djablomi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Djablomi is breathing heavily.

Barrett stands and throws Djablomi's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Barrett has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Good leg kick by Barrett there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Barrett closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Djablomi's guard.
Barrett slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Djablomi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Djablomi is looking to stand back up but Barrett counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Djablomi.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scotty Barrett dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Barrett.
Barrett creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Djablomi sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Barrett stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Djablomi misses with a takedown attempt - Barrett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A big head kick from Barrett and Djablomi is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Djablomi is rocked!

It looks like Haywud Djablomi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barrett advances position into side control!
Oh Djablomi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Djablomi is trying to escape the position but Barrett is controlling the position.
Barrett has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Djablomi seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Barrett cracks Djablomi with a big right hand but Djablomi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Barrett takes a little break here. Djablomi wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Scotty Barrett was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Barrett closes the distance and clinches.
Djablomi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Barrett has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Djablomi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Barrett has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Djablomi's body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Barrett has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Djablomi is in real trouble here. Barrett gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Djablomi is tapping out! Barrett wins by rear naked choke!
