Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Kahuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hopkins!

It looks like Timo Kahuna has been cut.
Kahuna looks to land a left hand but Hopkins moved out of range nicely.
Hopkins throws a series of strikes that have Kahuna backpedaling.

and Kahuna counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hopkins throws a nice looking combination but Kahuna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hopkins tries to bum rush Kahuna with a series of wild strikes but Kahuna uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kahuna throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kahuna swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hopkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dwayne Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hopkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Hopkins has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Basics -LOD- in the buildup to the fight.
Hopkins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Kahuna might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kahuna avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hopkins looks to land a combination but Kahuna avoids it well.

Kahuna lands a left and a right that send Hopkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Kahuna thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kahuna gets in close and tags Hopkins with a short punch that almost sends Hopkins to the mat! Oh Hopkins is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kahuna, trying to create some distance but Kahuna rushes him, striking wildly and Hopkins goes down! The referee tackles Kahuna into the cage to end the fight! Kahuna is one violent man!
