Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vennamo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hussein moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vennamo stuffs the takedown.

Hussein changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vennamo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hussein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vennamo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hussein tries to escape but Vennamo has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hussein is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Vennamo.
Vennamo wants to control but Hussein manages to buck him off and is now in Vennamo's guard! Nice work there by Hussein!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vennamo loads up on a big right hand but Hussein slips the punch.
Hussein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vennamo pinned against the cage. Vennamo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hussein dives in and grabs Vennamo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vennamo pushes down on Hussein's head and hops out.
Heikki Vennamo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krammer Hussein.
Hussein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Vennamo tests Hussein's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hussein shoots in for a takedown but Vennamo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hussein rushes Vennamo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hussein tries to close the distance and clinch but Vennamo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vennamo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hussein with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vennamo to score with a decent uppercut.
Hussein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vennamo tries to avoid it but Hussein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vennamo to the ground. Vennamo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vennamo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horrible takedown by Hussein or perhaps it was just good defense by Vennamo which made him look bad.
Hussein tries to clinch but Vennamo is having none of it.
Good exchange - Vennamo coming out on top.

Vennamo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vennamo connects with a body shot that sends Hussein's belly button to the back.
Krammer Hussein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hussein shoots in looking for a takedown. Vennamo tries to sprawl out of it but Hussein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vennamo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vennamo misses with a two punch combination.
Hussein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hussein looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vennamo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Vennamo throws a series of strikes that have Hussein backpedaling.

Hussein is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vennamo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vennamo wants it to stay on the feet.
Vennamo gets in close and tags Hussein with a short punch that almost sends Hussein to the mat! Oh Hussein is in big trouble! He turns his back on Vennamo, trying to create some distance but Vennamo rushes him, striking wildly and Hussein goes down! The referee tackles Vennamo into the cage to end the fight! Vennamo is one violent man!

A less than humble Heikki Vennamo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
