The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quartey has managed to clinch.
Black looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Black wants a takedown but no success here.
Quartey is pressed up against the cage. Black has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Quartey down to the mat. Quartey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Quartey tries a head kick but it misses.
Quartey lands a high kick!

Quartey lands a big head kick that sends Black tumbling to the mat! Quartey takes a step backwards and waves Black back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Black is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Quartey and Black are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Quartey throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Black into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Quartey knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
