On his way into the cage it seems that Reginald Franks has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Reginald Franks seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a solid leg kick but Franks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Martinez.

Martinez is trying to buck Franks off.
An elbow from Franks crashes against the mat.
Martinez pushes Franks away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Franks gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Franks goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Martinez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Franks but great work by Martinez.
