Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Balian Psikuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Psikuta comes into the arena with Gay's Rules blaring out of the sound system. Balian Psikuta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Psikuta closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Barnes keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Psikuta is looking to take a break and control but Barnes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Psikuta closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barnes's guard.

Barnes feints a jab promting Psikuta to slip. Barnes then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Psikuta slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Psikuta shoots for a takedown but Barnes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barnes throws a body punch but Psikuta moves out of range.
Barnes wants to slow Psikuta down by chopping away at his legs.

Barnes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Psikuta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
