Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Korga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Malcolm Graham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaiser Korga!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graham closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Korga to the mat! Korga manages to get full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Graham loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Graham throws a big right hand that misses.
Graham trying to control but Korga is working from the bottom.

Korga is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Graham defends well.

Korga has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Graham can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Graham drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Korga dives on top into guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Graham enables Korga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Graham manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Korga can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Graham is looking to escape.

Korga is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Graham has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Graham avoids a series of strikes thrown by Korga.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Korga is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Graham can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kaiser Korga has got the better of the ground game so far.

Korga looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Graham is just content to waste time from the top position. Korga takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Well Korga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
