Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Crasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Melvin Manhoef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Crasher!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Hemmingworth and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crasher shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Manhoef is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Manhoef is working hard here to advance position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Crasher in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manhoef wants to get back to full guard but Crasher has mounted him!
Manhoef wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Manhoef reaches up to try and control the position but Crasher seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Manhoef rolls and tries to escape and now Crasher has his back!

Crasher working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Manhoef is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Crasher has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Manhoef taps out!

After winning the bout, Johnny Crasher thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
