The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Ripper looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The Ripper misses with a few strikes there.

The Ripper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bashor.

It looks like Jason Bashor has been cut.

Bashor wants the takedown. The Ripper is fighting it off but Bashor persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in The Ripper's guard against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bashor connects with a nice short shot to The Ripper's temple.

The Ripper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bashor's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bashor's back!

Bashor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Ripper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
