Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sudo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Daniels sprawls well initially but Sudo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Daniels pushes Sudo off looking to stand but Sudo dives back in and keeps control.
Daniels is trying to control but can't.
Daniels is trying to get back to full guard.
Sudo stops Daniels from getting back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Daniels scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Daniels clinches up with Sudo and pushes him back against the cage.

Sudo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Daniels avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sudo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Daniels tries to hold on but Sudo pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sudo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Let's hope that Sudo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sudo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Daniels gets to his feet - Sudo follows without any prompting.
