Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jody Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atilla Lakatos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakatos throws a head kick that misses
and Underwood counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lakatos paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Underwood shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Atilla Lakatos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lakatos throws a shot from downtown. Underwood moves away and avoids it.
Lakatos tries a head kick but it misses.

Underwood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Underwood lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lakatos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lakatos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lakatos throws a lazy right hand but Underwood sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Underwood is pulling down on Lakatos's head. It's preventing any offense from Lakatos, at least for the moment.

Underwood scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Underwood jumps guard but Lakatos stands there with Underwood around his waist. Underwood gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lakatos tries to break free but Underwood pushes him back against the cage.
Underwood changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lakatos fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Underwood jumps guard and drags Lakatos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Underwood has Lakatos pulled in close to control his posture.

Underwood has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lakatos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
