The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jeremy tests Britt's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Jeremy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Britt was covering up waiting for the punch and Jeremy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Britt kicks Jeremy off and gets to his feet.

Britt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jeremy is trying to defend but Britt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Britt content to control rather than advance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jeremy moves into full guard.

Jeremy working for a triangle but Britt defends it easily.
Britt postures up.

Jeremy has his foot on Britt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Britt works his way back into a safe position though.
Britt is stalling in the full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Britt is looking to work some ground and pound but Jeremy has wrist control.

Jeremy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Britt postures up in Jeremy's guard and throws a big left but Jeremy blocks it.
Britt scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Britt's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Britt has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jeremy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Britt is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jeremy pulls down on the head and he's put Britt to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ron Jeremy!
