Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Moshe Best!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Hardinger!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardinger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Best counters with a head kick.
Hardinger tries to clinch up
enabling Best to counter with a crisp jab.

Hardinger looking to score a takedown here. Best is defending well but Hardinger drives through and ends up in Best's guard.
Hardinger postures up in Best's guard and throws a big left but Best blocks it.
Best doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hardinger wants to control from the top but Best keeps moving.
Hardinger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andrew Hardinger hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hardinger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Best enables Hardinger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Best manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Best seems keen to control Hardinger's posture.
Hardinger looking to sit in guard and control but Best gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Best connects with a nice short shot to Hardinger's temple.

Best decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Andrew Hardinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Best swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardinger.
Hardinger fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hardinger is trying hard to land a takedown here. Best sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hardinger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Best sprawls well. Best wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hardinger gets slowly back to his feet.

Best fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hardinger avoids it really well and circles away.

Best has Hardinger pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hardinger manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Horrible takedown by Hardinger or perhaps it was just good defense by Best which made him look bad.

Best throws a big elbow that misses.

Best gets to his feet. Hardinger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hardinger throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Best's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Best stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Best wants it to stay on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Best jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hardinger walks away with a smile on his face. Best gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Best takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hardinger jumps guard but Best turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hardinger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Best avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Best jumps guard and drags Hardinger to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hardinger stands up and waves to Best to follow him.
Hardinger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Best's waist but Best gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardinger off to one side.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andrew Hardinger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hardinger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
