Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jun Gyeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyeong has chosen Intro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jun Gyeong has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gyeong has managed to clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gyeong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Let's hope that Gyeong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith wants to take the fight to the mat but Gyeong manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
