The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Pedo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Anthony is trying to defend but Del Pedo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Del Pedo wants to work for an arm triangle but Anthony is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Del Pedo thows an elbow strike that misses. Anthony gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Del Pedo doesn't seem too bothered but Anthony quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Del Pedo is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Del Pedo really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
