Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Masuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vincent Masuka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic throws a shot from downtown. Masuka moves away and avoids it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Masuka.

Masuka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Filipovic, pushing him back against the cage.

Masuka wants the takedown. Filipovic is fighting it off but Masuka persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Filipovic's guard against the cage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Filipovic wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Masuka manages to pass to side control.
Filipovic pushes Masuka off but Masuka dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masuka wants to control but Filipovic is keeping him busy.

Masuka is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Filipovic looks calm but he's in trouble here. Masuka gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Filipovic is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Masuka lets go of the hold and Filipovic can pop his arm back in it's socket.
