Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Bernard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcel Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Bernard!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bernard swivels and escapes.
Moore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bernard.
Bernard shoots and misses

and Moore counters by moving into the clinch.

Bernard successfully pulls guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Moore showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Moore passes Bernard's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bernard keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bernard is trying to control but can't.

Bernard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moore pulls his head out easily.

Moore stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bernard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moore paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bernard unloads a knee to the mid-section. Moore lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bernard goes for a takedown attempt but Moore pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Marcel Moore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Bernard.
Bernard throws a series of punches but Moore avoids them all with ease.
Moore dives in for a single leg takedown but Bernard sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bernard tries a knee to the head but Moore blocks it.
Bernard changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Moore fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Moore feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moore is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Moore wants to stand but Bernard is controlling the position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bernard wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Moore blocks a head kick by Bernard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Andy Bernard will probably get the nod.

Moore shoots in but Bernard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bernard slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Andy Bernard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moore keeps the fight on the outside.
Moore throws a head kick but Bernard moves out of range.

Moore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bernard walks away with a smile on his face. Moore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Moore throws a sloppy head kick and Bernard moves out of range easily.

Moore is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bernard is keeping busy.

Moore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bernard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Moore is looking to control Bernard's arms but Bernard gets an underhook and turns him. Now Moore has his back to the cage.

Moore gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bernard keeping moving, preventing Moore from controlling successfully.
Bernard wants to sweep here but Moore controlling him for the moment.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bernard wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marcel Moore wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Moore fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bernard slips a jab and a cross from Moore.
Bernard misses with a takedown attempt - Moore sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

A close second round but Andy Bernard will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Moore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bernard misses with the body kick
and Moore counters with a three punch combo that has Bernard backing up. Bernard nods at Moore to acknowledge the strikes.
Marcel Moore is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Moore shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bernard napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bernard takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Moore tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moore has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bernard takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Moore looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Moore passes the guard and advances to mount!

Bernard really wants to buck Moore off and get back to his feet.

Bernard is bucking up trying to escape but Moore cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bernard tries to reverse the position but Moore maintains control.
Bernard is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Moore has taken his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moore is looking to control Bernard but Bernard is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Marcel Moore showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bernard has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
