A fine choice. Sandford is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Two steps from hell-Heart of courage. William Wallace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Sandford!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandford misses with a double jab
and Wallace counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sandford uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sandford connects with a body shot.
Sandford dodges the punch combination from Wallace.

Wallace takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Wallace definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sandford will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sandford throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wallace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wallace looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Sandford throws a series of punches but Wallace avoids them all with ease.
Wallace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sandford moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

James Sandford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wallace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wallace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wallace wants to control from the top but Sandford keeps moving.

Sandford escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sandford is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wallace is trying to maintain the position but Sandford is very close to passing his half guard.

Sandford is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wallace is in trouble now - Sandford has advanced to mount!

Sandford has control of Wallace's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wallace regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sandford wants to control the pace but Wallace is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace is controlling an arm, preventing Sandford from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Wallace is desperately trying to improve his position but Sandford has a good base and remains in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Sandford dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well Sandford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
