Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexandr Romanov!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov scores with a kick to the body.
McWhiskey avoids a kick to the body.
McWhiskey throws a jab but it's blocked by Romanov.
McWhiskey fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Romanov checks it well.
Romanov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McWhiskey sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Romanov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Romanov scores with a push kick.
Romanov throws a low kick but McWhiskey moves out of range easily.
McWhiskey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Romanov's hands.
McWhiskey misses with a left hand
and Romanov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McWhiskey looks to throw the jab but Romanov is out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McWhiskey misses with a kick to the body.
McWhiskey throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
McWhiskey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Romanov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McWhiskey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McWhiskey takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McWhiskey throws a combination. Romanov tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Romanov throws a half hearted mid kick.
McWhiskey looks to score with a jab to the body but Romanov is just out of range.
Romanov on the wrong end of a nice jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

McWhiskey lands a big head kick that sends Romanov tumbling to the mat! McWhiskey takes a step backwards and waves Romanov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Romanov is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Romanov cracks McWhiskey with a right hand to the side of the head.
Romanov is still on wobbly legs! Can McWhiskey finish him?

McWhiskey moves into the clinch.

Romanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
BOOM! McWhiskey lands a beautiful left hook that drops Romanov. Romanov tries to recover but McWhiskey is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Romanov lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick McWhiskey!
Patrick McWhiskey decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
