Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terry Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bull Winkle!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winkle scores with a takedown into Moon's guard.
Moon controls Winkle momentarily but Winkle frees himself.
Winkle trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.
Winkle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Winkle is looking to work some ground and pound but Moon has wrist control.
Winkle wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bull Winkle wasn't active enough on the ground.

Winkle darts in and clinches Moon up against the cage.

Moon has picked Winkle up - he's going for a ride! Moon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Moon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Moon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Winkle wants to control but Moon passes into side.
Winkle tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Winkle to his feet.

Winkle gets caught napping as Moon dives in and scores a takedown. Winkle manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Moon's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Moon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Moon is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Moon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Winkle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moon is one step ahead there.
Moon content to stall in guard here.
Moon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Winkle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Moon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Moon is staying active underneath Winkle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Moon gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Winkle tries to stand but Moon is controlling from the bottom.
Winkle looking to pass the guard.
Winkle trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Moon will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Winkle shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moon is trying to defend but Winkle finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Moon is not content to let Winkle control the position.

Winkle in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Moon tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Winkle!
