Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Roller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven The Taino Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Roller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steven The Taino Warrior!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roller closes the distance and clinches up with The Taino Warrior, looking for a takedown. Roller pushes The Taino Warrior against the cage but The Taino Warrior circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from The Taino Warrior. No joy for Roller on that attempt.
The Taino Warrior is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Roller.
Roller shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Roller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roller throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Roller rushes The Taino Warrior and presses him up against the cage.
The Taino Warrior tries to break free but Roller pushes him back against the cage.
Roller tries to score a body lock takedown but The Taino Warrior shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The Taino Warrior wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Roller has him pressed against the cage.
Roller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite The Taino Warrior's efforts to push away.
The Taino Warrior tries to break the clinch but Roller is controlling the position.
Roller has The Taino Warrior pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. The Taino Warrior manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The Taino Warrior has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Roller after a bit of a struggle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Taino Warrior changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Roller fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The Taino Warrior closes the distance and pushes Roller back into the cage.

Roller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Roller.

Roller has taken the fight to the clinch.
Roller can't get the takedown.
Roller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as The Taino Warrior walks away with a smile on his face. Roller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Steven The Taino Warrior is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Roller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Roller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. The Taino Warrior manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The Taino Warrior swivels and escapes.
Roller shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Taino Warrior sprawls well. The Taino Warrior wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Roller gets slowly back to his feet.
Roller is breathing heavily.
The Taino Warrior chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Roller can pounce on him.
Roller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The Taino Warrior throws a right hand that Roller ducks under and follows up with a left that Roller also avoids with ease.
Roller shoots in looking for a takedown but The Taino Warrior manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The Taino Warrior fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Roller is out of range.
The Taino Warrior slaps away a takedown attempt from Roller, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roller tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling The Taino Warrior to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like Tyson Roller has been cut.
Roller moves out of range of the strikes.
Roller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Roller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Roller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Taino Warrior avoids it really well and circles away.
The Taino Warrior throws a big shot that misses.

The Taino Warrior moves into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Roller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The Taino Warrior breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The Taino Warrior darts in and clinches Roller up against the cage.

Roller breaks the clinch.
The Taino Warrior misses with a lunging right hand

and Roller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Roller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Taino Warrior waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Roller.
Roller throws a series of punches but The Taino Warrior avoids them all with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roller throws a nice looking combination but The Taino Warrior bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The Taino Warrior moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Steven The Taino Warrior will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Tyson Roller's cut.
That's time! Roller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Roller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Taino Warrior manages to avoid it.
The Taino Warrior stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Taino Warrior wants it to stay on the feet.
The Taino Warrior tries to clinch but Roller moves away
and Roller counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps The Taino Warrior thinking.
The Taino Warrior stuffs the takedown.
Roller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Roller. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Taino Warrior drops Roller with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Roller looks back up at him and smiles so The Taino Warrior waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Roller is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
BOOM! The Taino Warrior lands a beautiful left hook that drops Roller. Roller tries to recover but The Taino Warrior is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Roller lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven The Taino Warrior!
