The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gonzales swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams wants to clinch but Gonzales slips to the side
and Gonzales connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gonzales takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gonzales is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Gonzales misses with a body shot
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

It looks like Billy Gonzales has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Williams closes the distance looking for a takedown. Gonzales stuffs it but Williams still has hold of him. Williams picks Gonzales up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Williams slams Gonzales to the floor and that's really hurt Gonzales - he doesn't know where he is! Williams throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
