Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Tenorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tenorio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kansas - Carry On Wayward Son. Jeff Li could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carlos Tenorio's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenorio slips a jab and a cross from Li.

Tenorio throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Tenorio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Li tries to avoid it but Tenorio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Li to the ground. Li escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Li rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tenorio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Li misses with a hook. Tenorio ducked under it nicely.
Li tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tenorio was well out of range. Poor timing from Li.
Tenorio uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Li.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tenorio is defended easily by Li.
Li will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Li is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Alpha Elite Private Training that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tenorio is keen to just control but Li is a slippery customer.
Tenorio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Li takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Li tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tenorio was well out of range. Poor timing from Li.
Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tenorio circles away quickly and effectively.
Horrible takedown by Tenorio or perhaps it was just good defense by Li which made him look bad.

Tenorio jabs Li right on the nose. Li blinks but takes it well.
Tenorio dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Li has had enough and taps out.
