The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergasmarchi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wabbit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bergasmarchi has his takedown stuffed
and Bergasmarchi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wabbit lands with a hook. Bergasmarchi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wabbit leaves Bergasmarchi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wabbit looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wabbit slaps away a takedown attempt from Bergasmarchi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Roger Wabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Bergasmarchi.

Wabbit jumps guard and drags Bergasmarchi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bergasmarchi has gone for a leg lock! Wabbit slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bergasmarchi's guard.

Bergasmarchi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wabbit's guard.

Bergasmarchi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wabbit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wabbit throws a big right hand that misses.
Wabbit in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wabbit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bergasmarchi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bergasmarchi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wabbit throws a shot from downtown. Bergasmarchi moves away and avoids it.

Wabbit is looking to clinch but Bergasmarchi is avoiding it.

and Wabbit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bergasmarchi shoots for a takedown but Wabbit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Wabbit cracks Bergasmarchi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wabbit has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bergasmarchi to stand back up!

It looks like Felipe Bergasmarchi has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
