PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Coors Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sun Wukong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wukong's choice of entrance music: I stand alone - Godsmack. The key to victory for Coors Light has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coors Light!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sun Wukong!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wukong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Light pinned against the cage. Light gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wukong shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Light as he jumps to the side.
Wukong shoots in but Light avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Coors Light has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sun Wukong.
Light misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The fight stays on the outside here - Light looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wukong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Light can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
