Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anabolinen Steroidi Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Taphorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steroidi Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Light Year - Sex Education . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taphorn slips under a jab.
Steroidi Jr scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Taphorn on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Steroidi Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Taphorn tries to bum rush Steroidi Jr with a series of wild strikes but Steroidi Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Taphorn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Steroidi Jr looks for the body kick but Taphorn saw that one coming.
Steroidi Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Steroidi Jr swings for the body but Taphorn moves out of range.
Steroidi Jr throws a front kick that sends Taphorn stumbling back into the cage.
Steroidi Jr swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taphorn.
Taphorn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Taphorn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steroidi Jr throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Taphorn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Steroidi Jr can pounce on him.

Taphorn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steroidi Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Taphorn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steroidi Jr keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Steroidi Jr throws an overhand right that lands on Taphorn's shoulder, as Taphorn tries to avoid the shot.

Steroidi Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Taphorn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Taphorn wants to control the position but Steroidi Jr says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Steroidi Jr is just content to waste time from the top position. Taphorn takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Steroidi Jr missing with a left hand there. Taphorn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Steroidi Jr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Taphorn has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Steroidi Jr is looking to defend but Taphorn has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Steroidi Jr! Taphorn pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Steroidi Jr taps out and this one is all over!
