The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delacruz tries to clinch but The Hedgehog moves out of range.
The Hedgehog takes a swing at Delacruz's ribcage but misses.
The Hedgehog misses with a leg kick
and Delacruz counters with a good low kick that The Hedgehog was not able to check.
The Hedgehog misses with a double jab

and Delacruz counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
The Hedgehog tries to pull guard but Delacruz forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

The Hedgehog avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The Hedgehog stays in close to Delacruz's body and controls the position.
Let's hope that The Hedgehog has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Marlon Delacruz has been cut.
Delacruz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The Hedgehog wants to control from the top but Delacruz keeps moving.
The Hedgehog prevents Delacruz from getting back to his feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sonic The Hedgehog wasn't active enough on the ground.

The Hedgehog throws a chopping leg kick but Delacruz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The Hedgehog closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Delacruz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Hedgehog on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, The Hedgehog cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The Hedgehog wants to control the pace but Delacruz is squirming around nicely.
The Hedgehog takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Delacruz is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The Hedgehog throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
A big strike lands for The Hedgehog! That's really hurt Delacruz and he's turned his back - The Hedgehog keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! The Hedgehog jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
