Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Skittles McCallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Death (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Skittles McCallister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Death!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Death fails in his attempt to clinch.
Death throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Death tries to close the distance and clinch but McCallister swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCallister swats away the attempt to clinch by Death.
Death tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCallister was well out of range. Poor timing from Death.
McCallister definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

McCallister closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McCallister lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
McCallister controls from within his opponent's guard.
Death wants to get back to his feet but McCallister passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, if McCallister is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
McCallister prevents Death from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCallister controlling the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Skittles McCallister wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Death throws a lazy head kick

and McCallister counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCallister.
McCallister is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Skittles McCallister.
Death closes the distance but McCallister moves to the side

and McCallister counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
McCallister takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Death tries to push off, looking to stand up, but McCallister manages to move to mount!
McCallister takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McCallister has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skittles McCallister dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Death fails with an attempt to clinch.
Death tries to clinch but fails miserably

and McCallister counters with a nice double leg into side control. Death won't be happy with that.
McCallister taking a breather here.

McCallister is working to tighten his grip on Death's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Death has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McCallister is really squeezing tight and eventually Death passes out! McCallister breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Skittles McCallister!
