Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Kuosmanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Coventry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glen Coventry struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Glen Coventry is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuosmanen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kuosmanen shoots in but no luck this time.
Kuosmanen tries for a takedown but Coventry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keijo Kuosmanen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coventry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kuosmanen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Coventry tries to clinch but Kuosmanen is having none of it.
Kuosmanen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Coventry pinned against the cage. Coventry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Coventry lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kuosmanen sprawling to the canvas. Coventry follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kuosmanen hang on?

It looks like Keijo Kuosmanen has been cut.
It looks like Coventry is going to stand back up.

Coventry is nestled in close to Kuosmanen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Coventry is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Kuosmanen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coventry's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coventry's back!

Coventry has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kuosmanen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Coventry is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kuosmanen pulls down on the head and he's put Coventry to sleep! This one is all over!
