Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzianowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Foxy Shazam - Killin' it . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pudzianowski.
Pudzianowski walks into a straight right hand from Price.


It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut.
Mariusz Pudzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Price as he connects with a hook.

Pudzianowski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Price is looking for a sweep.

Price is not content to let Pudzianowski control the position.

Pudzianowski postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Price sneaks back into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pudzianowski tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Pudzianowski is looking to take a break and control but Price is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Price works his way to full guard. Good work.
Pudzianowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Price looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Price is pulling down on Pudzianowski's head. It's preventing any offense from Pudzianowski, at least for the moment.

and Price counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Price throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Price fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pudzianowski, pushing him back against the cage.
Pudzianowski is trying to drag Price to the mat but Price just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariusz Pudzianowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Price scores with a knee to the head.
Price throws an elbow that misses.
Pudzianowski has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Price avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Price is struggling to control the position.
Price unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pudzianowski lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Price sizes up Pudzianowski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Price moves into the clinch.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Price. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Price.
Price lands an elbow inside that Pudzianowski shrugs off.
Price is trying to stall.

Pudzianowski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Price scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pudzianowski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Price takes the fight into the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Price prevents Pudzianowski from breaking the clinch.

Price cracks Pudzianowski with a nice body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Price effectively controlling the action here.
Price misses with a knee strike.
Price leaning against his opponent.

Jeez, Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Price comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Pat Price!
An out of breath Pat Price thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
