Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Serrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez comes to the ring accompanied by Megadeth-Trust. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Brian Serrano enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Serrano!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez shoots in but no luck this time.
Serrano moves in looking to clinch but Ramirez pushes him off.
Ramirez throws out a leg kick but Serrano moves out of range and Ramirez only half commits.
Ramirez swings for the body but Serrano moves out of range.
Serrano throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Ramirez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Serrano to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ramirez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Serrano is aware though and is defending well.
Serrano told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Serrano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramirez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Serrano has managed to get both his arms back between Ramirez's legs - danger averted.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.


Ramirez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Serrano swivels and escapes.
Brian Serrano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramirez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Serrano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramirez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Ramirez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Serrano won't be happy with that.

Ramirez is looking to take a break and control but Serrano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Serrano looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ramirez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Serrano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramirez's waist but Ramirez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Serrano off to one side.

Horrible takedown by Serrano or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez which made him look bad.

I would just about give that final round to Brian Serrano.
