Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holden comes to the cage accompanied by Act a Fool. Holmes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Muse: MK Ultra. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holden throws a hook but Holmes avoids it easily.
Holmes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Holden.
A looping hook to the body misses from Holden. Holmes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Holden looks to land a right hand but Holmes moved out of range.
Holmes throws a looping overhand right but Holden ducks down to avoid it.

Holmes has closed the distance and engaged Holden in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Holmes's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Holden makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Holmes manages to break the clinch.
Holden throws a jab but it's blocked by Holmes.
Holden misses with a straight right.
Holden tests Holmes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Holden is trying hard to land a takedown here. Holmes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Holden looks to land a left hand but Holmes moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circling - Holden throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've been hearing reports that Holden has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Holmes misses with a head kick.
Holmes walks into a stiff left hand from Holden.
Holden misses with a two punch combination.
Holden lands with an overhand left.
Holmes misses with a low kick.
Holden dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Holmes. That did some damage!
Holmes takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Holmes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Holmes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holden shoots for a takedown but Holmes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Holmes throws a shot to the body.
Holmes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Holmes tries a head kick but it misses.
Holden uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holmes.
Holden tries to clinch there but Holmes circles away.
Holden feints a jab promting Holmes to slip. Holden then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Holmes slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Holden swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Holmes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holden.
Holden stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Holden lands an overhand right.

Holmes gets tackled into the cage by Holden. Holden maintains the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Holmes is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Holden.
Holden wants to stall.

Holmes breaks from the clinch.
James Holmes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Holmes misses with a punch on the inside.
Holmes working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Holden is looking to control Holmes's arms but Holmes gets an underhook and turns him. Now Holden has his back to the cage.
Holden's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Holden tries to pull guard but Holmes holds him up against the cage and eventually Holden drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Judge Holden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holmes blocking some punches.
Holmes swings wildly with an uppercut but Holden uses good head movement to avoid it.

Holmes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Holmes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holden connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Horrible takedown by Holden or perhaps it was just good defense by Holmes which made him look bad.
Nice shot lands for Holden.
Holmes throws a leg kick but Holden checks it.
Holden misses with a hook. Holmes ducked under it nicely.

Holden closes the distance and pushes Holmes back into the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Holden swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Holden has Holmes pressed against the cage, preventing Holmes from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Holden is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Judge Holden dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Holmes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Holmes misses with a head kick.
Holden connects with a crisp jab.

Holmes lands a big head kick that sends Holden tumbling to the mat! Holmes takes a step backwards and waves Holden back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Holden is rocked!

It looks like Judge Holden has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holden bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Holmes comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Holden falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Holden was out before he hit the floor!
