Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daisuke Minowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ricardo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ~Love Story~. The crowd seem to be enjoying Minowa's choice of entrance music: Sunbeam - One Minute in Heaven. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minowa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Minowa slips a jab and a cross from Ricardo.
Ricardo fails with an attempt to clinch.

Minowa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Minowa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Minowa swings around for an armbar but Ricardo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Minowa's guard.

Ricardo is taking a breather. Minowa says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ricardo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
