The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kendall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turk's waist but Turk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kendall off to one side.

Kendall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Turk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Turk is staying active underneath Kendall, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kendall in particular looking to stall.

Kendall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Turk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Turk is refusing to be controlled, as Kendall sits in half guard.
