Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nadi Tsunami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Gallo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsunami moves in looking to clinch but Gallo pushes him off.
Tsunami is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gallo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We're going to have a standup here because Nadi Tsunami wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tsunami is trying to push Gallo away but Gallo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tsunami has Gallo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gallo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

The crowd are getting on Gallo's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Gallo has Tsunami pressed against the cage, preventing Tsunami from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gallo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tsunami's elbow.

Gallo lands with a nice combination. Tsunami backs away looking to recover.

Tsunami closes the distance and pushes Gallo back into the cage.

Gallo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tsunami backwards.

Tsunami pulls guard successfully.
Tsunami wants to stand and escape but Gallo is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tsunami escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gallo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tsunami tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gallo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tsunami shoots in for a double leg but Gallo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Joe Gallo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Tsunami takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Oh Tsunami is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tsunami takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Tsunami shoots in looking for a takedown but Gallo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tsunami's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tsunami uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gallo.

Gallo lands a left and a right that send Tsunami crashing to the mat, dazed. Gallo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gallo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Nadi Tsunami has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Joe Gallo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Joe Gallo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
