Blisner comes to the ring accompanied by Garth Brooks- Friends in Low Places. Hogin has chosen real american as his entrance music. Hulk Hogin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blisner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Hogin moves forwards but Blisner connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Hogin wants to get back to full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Blisner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Still in half guard, Blisner seems content to control.
Hogin is looking to get back to is feet but Blisner passes into side control.
Blisner content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Hogin parries the strikes from Blisner easily there. Blisner is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hogin to escape.

Blisner wants to control but Hogin is keeping him busy.

Hogin prevents Blisner from moving into mount.
Blisner works to advance to full mount. Hogin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
