Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bingo Star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Star has chosen Octopus's garden as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teddy Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bingo Star!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass throws a shot from downtown. Star moves away and avoids it.
A head kick misses from Star.
Star falls off balance throwing a combination
and Star takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Star darts in and clinches Bass up against the cage.

Bass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bass shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Star sprawls well. Star wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bass gets slowly back to his feet.
Bass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Star misses with a double jab.

Bass drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Star manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bass manages to get himself to full guard.
Bass keeping moving, preventing Star from controlling successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Star throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bass.

Bass seems to be working for a kimura but Star defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bass throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

That was a close round but I would say that Teddy Bass will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Star walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bass is trying hard to land a takedown here. Star sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Star throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Star tries to close the distance and clinch but Bass swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Star is pressed up against the cage. Bass has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Star down to the mat. Star avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrible takedown by Bass or perhaps it was just good defense by Star which made him look bad.

Bass seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Star does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bingo Star wasn't active enough on the ground.

Bass has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Star after a bit of a struggle.

Bingo Star comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Star has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
